The Oceanside Airport is located at the northwestern corner of Oceanside approximately 2 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The City of Oceanside is boardered on the west by the Pacific Ocean, on the north by Camp Pendleton Marine Base and on the south by the City of Carlsbad.

Oceanside Airport Information Traffic Pattern You can go to the city web address and download the airspace brochure that explains how to operate in the vicinity of the Oceanside airport. If you go to http://www.ci.oceanside.ca.us/, you will get to the city website. Then click on City Council Members, then City Services, Then Public Works, then Oceanside Municipal Airport. You will then be able to view the City Of Oceanside Aiport Traffic Pattern Brochure. If you are flying in and unsure about the local traffic pattern after printing the City's brochure, feel free to give the airport a call at (760-435-5187)to get info direct. Please note that a properly performed VFR noise abatement departure procedure from Runway 24 is non-standard, complex and involves a double S-Turn ground-reference-maneuver to the left while in a departure climb all the way to the coastline. You can always call the OAA (760-845-0209) to speak to a local pilot familiar with the area and procedures. Driving Directions The airport is located 2 miles east of the Interstate 5 Highway 76 offramp. From the North: Take I-5 South, Exit Highway 76 East, turn Left at Airport Rd. From the South: Take I-5 North, Exit Highway 76 East, turn Left at Airport Rd. There is an aiport parking lot next to the small terminal building.
