KOKB Has Been Transfered to Airport Property Ventures!!!

On September 1st, 2009, the dream for many of us became a reality...The Oceanside Airport is now under the management and developmental control of a private entity, APV...who likes airports! We are excited about the future, as the lease they secured with the city is for 50 years!!

With APV now managing and running the airport, pilots and the non-flying public will be able to look forward to an well run and constantly improving airport property. APV has a plan to develop and update most everything on the airport over the next few years. A new Airport Admin and Pilot lounge, a restaurant, a washing area, more hangers, maintenance facilitie and more are in the offing. So, greet the folks at APV when you see them and tell thm you are excited about their taking over. Give them your support and encouragement and prepare to enjoy a customer service approach to airport management.
